Character Summary

Conan is half a feral creature in more than just form. He's got strong instincts that he's used to living by. Conan is a ravenously hungry creature, likely to devour humans and demons alike when he hungers. He has an oddly strong socialness to him, perhaps picked up from his common form of a wolf. He craves having the stability of a given heirarchy, such as a pack. And so long as he's fed, he probably won't end up eating his pack by accident.

He falls into the 'juvenile' age range for demons, at only three hundred seventy nine. He's young, for a demon, and it's apparent easily enough. He can often be reckless in his actions, but he has a very calculating side and is prone towards through despite his tendency towards taking risky actions. He seeks for positive attention and affection as well as protection. And, by necessity, a source of food.

Ascensions and Legacies

The ability to transform and reshape the form of one’s body.

Level 3: Proficient

[Control Based: You are more abstract, and driven by your imagination. You can change yourself to look like any animal you have seen in your lifetime. As your mastery grows, you may even shapeshift into the tiniest of insects; some of which you’ve never even seen except for online or on tv. Your specialty is in transforming into mythological creatures and abstract ideas, such as an angel or beam of light. Of course, the higher the concept, the harder it is to pull off. Lesser control based shapeshifters are hardly able to perform this feat. These people have trouble shapeshifting into other people.]

The ability to regenerate lost limbs, organs, and cartilage on oneself.

Level 3: Proficient

[Power Based: The greater loss you can regenerate (i.e. dependent on mastery levels, power based regeneration would allow you to regenerate bigger wounds like a severed arm, or stomped stomach).]

The ability to slow, speed, reverse, or stop the flow of blood in, to, or from a living body.

Level 4: Major

[Control Based: The larger amount of ways you can manipulate that blood at once.]

The creation/manipulation of shadows, the ability to fade into the shadows or use shadows to hide things.

Level 2: Minor

[Power Based: The larger amount of shadows you can create at once.]

Increased senses. You can touch, taste, see, hear, and feel things at a level unrecognized for any other human or demon.

Level 2: Minor

[Control Based: You can’t shut off your senses, but you have the ability to surpass most dogs for up to 24 hours in a day, depending on mastery level.]

The communication with animals and the control of animals. The more intelligent the animal, the easier it is to communicate with and the harder it is to control.

Level 2: Minor

[Control Based: The better communication you have with animals.]

Character In-Depth

Conan came into the world with a rather large family, for a demon. In his youth, he was a primarily quiet creature, prone to observing. He had many siblings, older and eventually younger ones, and he got used to them coming and going on his parents territory. Most of his siblings left eventually, even if they did come back for visits. While Conan continued to stay, some of his younger siblings had already departed. He continued to quietly stick around and eating the food his parents provided for the children. Eventually, after some centuries, his parents patience with him on this matter began to wear thin, and they slowly cut down on the amount of food they allowed him to take, leaving more for the younger ones. Their intent had been to get Conan to eventually be driven to leave by hunger. And he was certainly driven to something by hunger.

Driven to tear apart and devour the youngest of his siblings, that is. That marked the end point of his stay with his parents, them chasing out their elder child whose mouth was still stained with the blood of the young one. He was wounded in his escape and settled down far from man in order to heal. It took some time to recover, and then he experienced hunting for the first time. In his favoured shape, he tracked down humans that went to far into the wilderness, and devoured them as well. Still, he was once more driven away when he was shot. It was a minor wound, luckily, one he could recover from, but he still left, not particularly interested in repeating the experience.

It was during his period of isolation to heal from that wound that Conan was discovered by a wolf pack. He grew fond of them, and they helped him regain his strength when he asked. It was then he decided to stay with them, as a wolf. For a time, Conan had a pack. Conan had a pack, and he loved them as much as he could. But wolves don't hunt humans nor do they hunt demons, and the need for flesh weighed increasingly heavily upon him. Still, he stayed. Conan had never been so at peace as he was with the pack. Conan had a pack, and when the hunger grew too strong, Conan was no more, only a starving beast, ripping to shred everything alive in search of food. Conan threw up when he regained awareness and left as soon as he could.

And then he found himself in the city, after wishing to be anywhere else. Currently he lives off of scraps left behind by others, wary of huntinh, but each day his hunger grows.
